About Shine a RAY of Light on Parkinson's SRLP
Our Why
Shine a RAY of Light on Parkinson’s was founded out of a deep personal connection to the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Our nonprofit Presidents father Ray has battled PD for 25 years, and our board members have also witnessed the impact of this disease on their own loved ones. We understand firsthand the challenges that come with Parkinson’s.
Our History
Shine a RAY of Light on Parkinson's SRLP nonprofit has been working tirelessly to help those affected by Parkinson's Disease for over 5 years. We have raised over $15,000 thus far. We hope to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those affected and in the community as a whole.

Our mission is to play a pivotal role in advancing the search for a cure to Parkinson's disease. Through widespread awareness campaigns, events and unwavering support for individuals impacted by this disease, we aim to foster a brighter future for those affected and contribute significantly to the global fight against Parkinson's.

Sarah is the founder and President of Shine a RAY of Light on Parkinson's honoring her father Ray. With a passion for making a difference, Sarah leads efforts hosting impactful events like the, Fox Trot 5K, SRLP Car Show, Derby Dazzle and more. Her hope is to be the key factor in finding the cure for Parkinson's Disease as well as inspire support and action for those affected by PD.
